Chris Collier is a Cincinnati singer-songwriter. She performs locally as a solo artist, as a duo with Lead Guitarist, George Cunningham or with her Full Band. Her musician friends who have joined Chris to create her Full Band include: George Cunningham, Jan and Elaine Diehl, Kevin Shaffer and her sound engineer, Mark Jacobs. Collier has recorded nine CDs at Group Effort Sound Studio in Erlanger, Kentucky. Collier's band and recording members are all seasoned musicians.

Mike Breen of Cincinnati City Beat has written that Chris Collier is "One of Cincinnati's most critically lauded Folk singer-songwriters. Collier's music is a testament to good songwriting, unafraid of being nakedly introspective and heart-touchingly pure and real." Besides releasing several CDs to a praiseful press and earning numerous local award-show nominations, Collier was a 2006 Cincinnati Entertainment Award nominee for Best Singer Songwriter and 2002 Cammy Award Winner for Best Folk Vocalist. Collier's Full Band was awarded one of the Tri-State's Top 0 Bands in WOXY's 1999 Xposure Contest. Her recognitions include Best Singer Songwriter and Best Folk Vocalist/Act nominations from Cincinnati Entertainment Awards and Cammy Awards in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2006.

Rick Bird of the Cincinnati Post suggested in 2006 Collier's CD release Over Twenty is one of the top ten local releases. Mike Breen of City Beat adds, "Collier's well-written musings are certainly on par with the bigger Adult Alternative acts that garner national attention." While Larry Nager of the Cincinnati Enquirer reported, "Collier is as good a singer-songwriter as any of the major labels have recently produced."

Collier has received radio aiplay on WVXU, WNKU, WOXY, WAIF and other public radio stations. Her live radio version of her song, Galaxie 500 was selected as a tract on WNKU's Exit 89 CD where Chris and her band are side by side artists like Patty Larkin, Bruce Cockburn and Whiskeytown. Collier has opened for Bill Miller, Jamie Hartford, Jennifer Teft, Shawn Mullins, and Lucie Blue Tremblay.
